Three wonders, maybe four. First, that the original article was moderate in tone and invoked the “suicide” card once only but not the “murderer” meme. Two, that these letters are sort-of balanced. Three, that Congram’s predictable missive has been allowed only the muted flag of “death sentence”. Four, perhaps this sequence indicates a dawning of rational thought, that some children are born into lives of catastrophic misery and cruelly crushed potential.
Oh, and a fifth wonder, that this comment got through the filter. And yes, perhaps a sixth, that the comments are published before midnight.
Can we, then, look forward to more letters, not from the usual chorus of tub-thumpers, tomorrow?
